VOC needed stronger donor and volunteer motivation, along with a specific answer to where the money goes. The SOW called for three campaign videos in 10 weeks from a self-managed student team.
Served as producer and director on a 7-person team, from sourcing the partnership and writing the SOW to managing production, filming on location, and delivering the full campaign package.
Follow the Dollar: Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado won a Bronze Telly Award in the Student Promotional Video category.
Sourced the VOC partnership independently. Co-structured the full campaign SOW defining audience, goals, deliverables, and production schedule.
Built the campaign around a donor narrative and a volunteer-recruitment story — two pieces designed to move different audiences toward action.
Chose interviews, project footage, nature visuals, and on-location storytelling to make VOC feel tangible and credible.
Managed production logistics, team coordination, and creative direction from planning through post-production delivery.
Follow the Dollar: Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado — Student Promotional Video category.
SOW to final delivery inside the capstone timeline.
Follow the Dollar (donor narrative) and Volunteer Stories.
Outreach, planning, filming, and delivery — handled by students.
Two showcased films from the campaign brief: the donor narrative Follow the Dollar and the volunteer-recruitment story Volunteer Stories: Why You Should Join VOC.
The final deliverable was a campaign package built from the original scope of work for VOC's fundraising, website, and social channels. The attached SOW shows the exact audience, messaging goals, deliverables, and production schedule that shaped the campaign from concept through delivery.
